SpaceX is offering a Starlink Family Plan to customer. The company sent out invitations to existing customers under residential subscriptions, informing them about a cable Starlink Family Plan and offering them discounts on hardware and monthly fees.
“Starlink is now offering a family discount for up to 2 additional family members on your account. You are invited to purchase Standard Kits for $199 with the Standard service of $100/month on a new subscription,” noted SpaceX in the invitations.
The offer ends on September 3, 2024. The cable Starlink Family Plan might be difficult to resist as it offers substantial discounts. The Standard Kit is usually priced at $499 and a monthly residential subscription starts at $120 per month.
In June, SpaceX slashed the price of its V4 Starlink dish. It offered a $100 discount for customers who ordered the V4 Starlink dish through Best Buy, Home Depot, and SpaceX’s official website. The company also offered a regional savings discount of $299 in 27 states for Starlink’s V4 dish.
According to PC Mag, it’s rare for SpaceX to offer a discount on Starlink’s monthly subscription fee. So Starlink’s Family Plan might be an offer to consider for family members who have been interested in trying out SpaceX’s internet service.
