Engineered exclusively for Starlink V5, the custom-molded frame securely holds the dish in place while maintaining the open sky visibility needed for reliable satellite connectivity. This mount is not compatible with Starlink Mini or Mini X. Starlink's official guidance also emphasizes choosing an installation location with a clear, unobstructed view of the sky for optimal performance.
The mounting system features four heavy-duty magnetic pucks, each rated for up to 66 lbs (30 kg) of pull force, providing a combined rated pull force of 264 lbs (120 kg) under specified test conditions. Each puck incorporates multiple neodymium magnets to create a strong connection with suitable flat ferromagnetic surfaces.
Designed specifically for exterior metal surfaces, the mount can be installed on compatible steel or iron vehicle roofs, hoods, truck beds, RV surfaces, and metal boat decks. No drilling, adhesives, or permanent vehicle modification is required—simply position the magnetic bases on a clean, flat, magnetic surface and secure your Starlink V5.
A rugged protective cover surrounds the Starlink V5 to help guard against dust, road debris, accidental impacts, and everyday outdoor exposure. UV-resistant materials provide additional protection against prolonged sunlight, helping improve durability during camping, overlanding, RV travel, and marine use.
The magnetic bases also feature protective contact surfaces designed to reduce scratching during installation and removal. When it's time to relocate your Starlink, simply remove the mount and reposition it without leaving permanent mounting holes behind.
Important: This product is intended for compatible flat steel or iron exterior surfaces only. It is not designed for glass, aluminum, fiberglass, composite roofs, non-magnetic surfaces, or interior vehicle installation. Actual magnetic holding performance will vary depending on metal thickness, surface condition, mounting angle, coating, vibration, wind load, and other installation factors.
For best Starlink performance, choose a mounting position with as few obstructions as possible and use the Starlink App's obstruction tool to verify the location.
Returns & Refund Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping Policy
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
