This mission, designated Starlink 15‑2, brings the global Starlink constellation to more than 7,950 active satellites. Already authorized by the FCC for up to 12,000 satellites—and seeking to expand to 30,000—SpaceX continues its push to enhance broadband coverage worldwide .
